Warby Parker

 

Warby Parker is an eye-ware company which gained recognition and success in a short span of time. Their success can be attributed to the persona of the company and their cheap and yet highly stylish designs.

THE CHALLENGE

 

My motivation with this exercise was to revamp Warby Parker's website and improve their user experience. The current website lacks focus on their core selling elements, eye-ware. The navigation from the landing page to the product takes a lot more than desirable clicks. The company's website also lacks the simple yet vibrant persona that caters to their younger demographics.

 

 

THE OBJECTIVE

 

To increase online sales by utilizing lean user experience and a style which relates to the company's vibe.

 

 

 

DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS

 

Information Architecture

 

Re-designed the information architecture to help the user navigate in a more naturalistic path. This flow also helps eliminate the additional steps for the customers to reach their desired products.

 

 

 

Refined infromation Architecture

Landing Page

 

I redesigned the landing page to direct the users towards the product, in a more cohesive and predictable way. The option to pick between Men's and Woman's style for eye-ware helps the user get engaged faster.

 

 

Home Try-on feature

 

The 'home try-on' is a great feature and I updated the user flow to be more engaging and style oriented. The visual progress bar and skip options, help customers choose their path without getting frustrated.

Product Page

 

Following the same flow, the product page is now reachable more easily. The changes related to the option categories makes the design easy to follow. The complexity of sorting based on various filters has now become more readable and clean.

THE OUTCOME

 

An adaptive web design that is clean and efficient and has a more refined Information flow that makes the website efficient and more in sync with its brand identity.
